Make your next move “the RIGHT, NEXT, BEST… THING.”
How do we even know what the-right-next-best thing to do even is? The most feel-good answer that comes to mind is to just pull from the top of the backlog…But I find this to be short sighted. A lot can change within a sprint or two. As much as it stirs the dust into the air, and no one likes to feel a change in direction, I like to step back and look at more sides and angles.
Why we’re not software engineers
At the end of the day, my paycheck came from the engineering firm hired to deliver. Even though I’d fight hard for our clients to create value everyday by our contracted teams, they would never be able to fully trust me if I’m not directly in their court.
In these early months at DEVSIO, being embedded and on the side of my clients in their offices and executive teams, has been a total game changer.

We’re often asked how we chose “dev-see-oh” as our company name. Today, it’s at the core of how we THINK, FEEL, SAY and DO as we serve our clients as experienced digital product & delivery people. Here’s a few other ways we arrived at D-E-V-S-I-O.
